Nine players could miss Arsenal vs West Ham as Mikel Arteta weighs up big injury decision

Arsenaland West Ham are dealing with injury problems ahead of Saturday's Premier League meeting. The two sides have endured contrasting starts to the 2025/26 season, with the Hammers already forced into a change.

Nuno Espirito Santo is preparing for just his second game in charge of the club after replacing Graham Potter last weekend. They drew 1-1 at Everton on Monday night and will be looking to provide a huge upset tomorrow.

The Gunners come into the game on the back of a decent run of form. Since losing to Liverpool at the end of August, Mikel Arteta's men have won five of their last six games, with the other draw coming against Manchester City.

Several players have returned to action from injury in recent weeks, with Bukayo Saka back from a hamstring injury. However, some concerns remain in the treatment room at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off in the 2-0 Champions League win over Olympiacos on Wednesday, and his availability for West Ham is currently unclear. "We'll have to wait and see after training, we've done almost nothing today so we'll see how everybody is but we weren't too concerned about him," Arteta said.

Fellow defender Piero Hincapiecontinues to wait for his first Premier League outing. After joining from Bayer Leverkusen, the Colombian has only made a brief appearance against Athletic Club in the Champions League.

Asked what the latest is on his recovery, Arteta said: "He will be available after the international break, we've been trying to do everything as fast as possible but this came too fast and now we have the international break and hopefully after that, he will have a couple of sessions with the team and ready to go."

Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are all also out with long-term injuries. For West Ham, Espirito Santo could be without four players, including regulars Tomas Soucek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Soucek is serving his suspension after picking up a red card in the defeat to Tottenham, while Wan-Bissaka suffered an upper-body injury, but could return this weekend.

George Earthy is out with a thigh injury, which is expected to force him out until the end of November.
