IIMC: Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is going to start PhD program in Mass Communication and Journalism from the upcoming academic session. Vice Chancellor Anupama Bhatnagar said, "We have notified the rules for the PhD program and we intend to start it from the next academic session. This is a big responsibility for us, and we are fully prepared for it."
Institute Registrar Nimish Rustagi said, "IIMC wants to become a leading center of research in the field of media, journalism, and communication. There is a need to promote scientific studies in this field and we are eager and happy to play our role in this direction."
He also said that all the information related to the admission process will be shared soon.
Established in the year 1965, IIMC has expanded its academic programs over time and now it conducts various specialized courses to meet the skilled human resource needs of the rapidly growing media and communication industry.
