At present, women in Delhi have to show pink slip to travel free. But a smart card will be given by the Delhi government which is also being called Saheli Smart Card. How can women get this card made, which documents will definitely be required, let us tell you.
According to the information received from the Delhi government, now women will have to get Saheli smart card made to travel free in the bus. This will be like a National Common Mobility Card. Its process will be completely online. Women will be able to travel free by making a card once.
To get this card, the age of women should be above 12 years. And it is also necessary for them to be permanent citizens of Delhi. It will be made only for those women who are permanently living in Delhi and not in any area of NCR.
For this, women will have to go to the portal of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and register. In this, the bank from which they want to get the card will have to be selected. KYC process will have to be done for this through Aadhar card by going to the bank. After this, Saheli smart card will be sent to the home address by the bank.
After getting the Saheli smart card, it has to be activated. It will be activated through DTC's Automatic Fare Collection System. For the Saheli Smart Card, documents like Aadhar Card with Delhi address, Residence Certificate, PAN Card and Passport size photo will be required.
