The ministry said that conducting CBT for RRB examinations is a very big process, which requires a lot of planning and coordination.
The priority is to give examination centers to the candidates near their homes.
The ministry said that the Railway Recruitment Board has taken the initiative to allocate examination centers to the candidates near their homes, in which special priority has been given to women and Divyang candidates. This pattern will also be adopted in the recruitment examinations to be held in the near future. For this, there is a need to enlist more examination centers and mobilize more manpower to examine fairly and transparently.
Railways will also make bumper recruitments in 2026-27
The ministry said that as per its published annual calendar, RRB has already issued 12 notifications for recruitment to 1,08,324 posts from 2024. More than 50,000 appointments will be proposed in the next financial year, 2026-27. All these appointments will be made to further strengthen the Indian Railways management.
Jammers are being installed at examination centers. Giving detailed information about the steps taken to increase the fairness of the examinations, the Ministry said that for the first time in examinations conducted on such a large scale, e-KYC-based Aadhaar authentication has been used to authenticate the identity of the candidates. More than 95% success has been achieved in this. At the same time, to eliminate the scope of cheating through electronic devices, now 100% jammers are being installed at all the examination centers of RRB.
