The UP government is now focusing on creating more job opportunities for the skilled labour force of the state. The state government is trying to create more entry level jobs for the ITI trained youth in the state.
To fulfil the goals, it has renewed their partnership with the Vision India Services, a workforce solution provider company. The partnership between the government and the company has been renewed for three years with a focus on creating new pathways for ITI-certified youth to connect with industry across the state. The MoU was officially signed by Abhishek Kumar Singh, director training and Vivek Kumar, MD and CEO of Vision India, in Lucknow.
Vision India runs the job portal ‘JustJob’, which the company claims as the first exclusive job portal for ITI and diploma candidates.
The platform is specifically designed to connect skilled youth with real-time, relevant opportunities in line with industry demand.
“JustJob is not just a portal. It is a mission to connect India’s skilled youth with the world of industry. This continued collaboration with the UP Government will help accelerate our shared goals,” Vivek Kumar, told ET.
Going forward, the government will also annually evaluate the jobs created through the collaboration.
