How to Make Masala Pav
This recipe is so easy that even a beginner can try it:
First, heat some butter or oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and fry until light pink. Add tomatoes and capsicum. When the vegetables soften slightly, add turmeric, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, and salt, mixing well. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the spices begin to release their aroma.
Now, cut the pav in half in a way that it doesn't separate. It should look like a book. Then, heat a pan and add some butter. Now spread a tablespoon of the prepared masala on the pan. Press the inside of the pav over the masala and toast it well on both sides, ensuring the masala penetrates deep into the pav.
Take the hot masala pav out onto a plate. Spread some more butter on top, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. So, you see, how quickly this street food can be prepared in your kitchen. Next time you're craving something light, be sure to try this 'masala pav' and treat your family to it.
