-When the child reaches the toddler stage, some things other than milk should be included in the diet, so that they develop properly. Bones become strong. Muscles get stronger. The brain develops completely.
-It is very important to give solid food to small children. When the child becomes 6 months old and tries to sit on his own, runs here and there, then his stomach will not be filled with just mother's milk. He also needs some solid food. For this, you should start with some things that are easily digestible, soft.
-You can feed lentil water.
- You can give thin semolina pudding with milk.
- You can give rice water. Do not add salt or spices to it.
- Give mashed banana to your child. You can feed an apple by boiling and mashing it.
How much quantity should be fed at what age?
If the child is from 6 to 8 months old, then feed him 2 to 3 spoons throughout the day. The quantity can be increased gradually.
When the child is 8 to 10 months old, you can give mashed rice with dal. Feed potatoes. Give egg yolk, cooked fruit.
When the child is 10 to 12 months old, give lightly boiled vegetables, porridge, curd, and khichdi.
When the child is one year old, feed him homemade food with less oil and spices.
Keep in mind that the quantity should be less; do not feed anything in large quantities.

What not to feed
-Do not give salt and sugar before the age of 1 year. Add a very small quantity to any food so that it tastes slightly sweet and salty.
-Do not feed outside food, packed food, old stale food, juices available in shops, biscuits, chocolates, etc. These can cause harm.
-Do not give things like dry nuts, toffees, peas, or gram to eat, because there is a fear of them getting stuck in the throat.
-Some people start giving cold drinks to small children, but don't do this. Don't feed them too many chips, snacks, or junk food.
