Shiv Ji Ki Puja: The Shravan month is considered dedicated to Lord Shiva. This year, this holy month has started from 11th July, and the Yagya will continue till 9th August. During this period, devotees properly worship Lord Shiva every day. Shiva is worshipped with Jalabhishek, mantra chanting, fasting, and various types of fruits and flowers. It is believed that Lord Shiva gets pleased quickly. If only water is offered with a true heart, then Bholenath accepts that too. Shiva likes normal Prasad, but some fruits are considered forbidden and should not be offered in his worship. Let us know which of these fruits...

Coconut
Coconut was produced from the process of Samudra Manthan and is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. Since Lakshmi ji is the better half of Lord Vishnu, offering a coconut is considered like offering Lakshmi to Shiva, which is inappropriate according to the Puja scriptures.
Banana
It is mentioned in the Puranas that the banana tree originated due to the fierce form of Lord Shiva and the curse of a Brahmin. This is the reason why bananas are not offered to Lord Shiva.
Pomegranate
It is forbidden to offer a whole pomegranate on the Shivling. However, anointing with pomegranate juice with devotion is considered acceptable.
Jamun
Jamun is not considered completely pure from the religious point of view. That is why it is not offered on the Shivling or the Shiva idol, nor is it offered as prasad.

Avoid these things too.
Apart from these fruits, Tulsi leaves and Kevada flowers are also not offered to Lord Shiva. According to the Shiv Puran, the Kevada flower was cursed by Shiva because it supported the false statement of Brahma Ji. Also, Shiva is a symbol of renunciation and penance, so he should not be offered kumkum, sindoor, or women's makeup items. Such items can reduce the effect of Shiva worship.
