Bengaluru: The residents of the city have been enjoying cool weather over the past few days. The city is set to experience moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of Karnataka. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city, which is expected to remain the same throughout the day. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in some regions of Karnataka.
The city woke up at 06: 00 AM. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 21 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 50 PM. The weather department said that rain and cloudy skies will keep the temperatures mild and pleasant in the city.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered to widespread moderate rainfall is likely in the coastal and Malnad districts of the state, with isolated heavy rainfall and very heavy rainfall expected from July 16. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in the interior districts."

Humidity levels may hover around 70-85 per cent, making the air feel damp, especially after rainfall. If you plan to step out, it's advisable to carry an umbrella or raincoat, as sudden rain showers are common. Wearing light cotton clothes will help in dealing with humidity.
