The reality show, MTV Roadies Double Cross, finally concluded on Sunday with Gullu, aka Kushal Tanwar, being announced as the winner. Kushal, who was a member of Elvish Yadav's team, took home a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh, along with a swanky new bike.
As promised in the beginning of the show, Kushal took home a Hero Karizma bike along with the cash prize. Opening up on winning the reality show, Kushal said in a statement, "Winning MTV Roadies Double Cross wasn’t just a title — it was a silent scream finally heard. There was no support, no guiding hand, no one to lift me when I was down. I went through it all alone."

He went on on to say, "This win is more than a trophy. It’s a symbol for every person who’s ever felt alone, who’s ever been told they’re not enough. I walked this path by myself, but I never gave up. And that’s what this victory is: not fame, not glory — but proof that even when you have nothing, you can still become everything."
For Elvish too, this was the first year as a gang leader on Roadies. Lauding Kushal's victory, he said, "From Day 1, I saw fire in Gullu (Kushal Tanwar). He didn’t just win tasks, he won hearts. His journey defines what Roadies Double Cross is all about — unpredictability, loyalty, and passion. I couldn’t have asked for a better gang member in my debut season!"
Thanking Elvish, Kushal added, "Everyone had heard the meaning of 'Double Cross,' I showed it by doing it. When I understood that the game would go next level with Elvish bhai, I made the decision — and today the trophy is in my hands. Gang Elvish gave me that space where I could play with full power. This is the real Roadies."
For those unversed, MTV Roadies Double Cross was the 20th season of the reality show. The show has given the stage to commoners, who went on to become popular names in the nation, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Prince Narula, Varun Sood, Pooja Banerjee, Shalin Bhanot, and others.
