Shefali Jariwala passed away on Friday night, and her funeral took place on Saturday. The actress was married to Parag Tyagi, but he was her second husband. Before Parag, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh (One of the Meet Brothers). The singer has reacted to his ex-wife's demise.

While talking to senior journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Singh said, “The fact that Shefali (Jariwala) is no more is shattering. I am in Europe."

Harmeet Singh Remembers His Last Meeting With Shefali Jariwala

Further talking about his last meeting with Shefali, Singh said, "I remember having gone to Bangladesh for a show, about two-three years ago. Sunny Leone and Shefali were also there. We three came back together in a private plane, and Shefali and I sat next to each other. And yes, there was quite a long conversation that we had.”

He further added that they did meet at events and parties, and always greeted each other warmly.

Shefali and Harmeet got married in 2004, and the two got divorced in 2009. During their divorce, Shefali had reportedly accused Harmeet of domestic abuse.

After the demise, Shefali was taken to Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Her post-mortem was done there on Saturday.

While talking about the post-mortem, Dixit Gedam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 9, said, “Shefali Jariwala’s post-mortem report is reserved. We did not find anything suspicious, and further investigation is ongoing.”
