After five years, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is going to start once again. Devotees will have to apply online for this journey. The Indian Foreign Ministry has said that the last date for application is 13 May 2025.

The first yatra will start from New Delhi on June 30 via Lipulekh. Every year around 900 Indian devotees visit Kailash Mansarovar.
According to the belief of Hinduism, Lord Shiva resides in Kailash Mansarovar. It is mentioned in many sacred Hindu scriptures. Circumambulating the lake is considered very important here.
Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake, situated at an altitude of 6,638 meters above sea level, also have special significance in Buddhism and Jainism.
Who can apply?
The Ministry of External Affairs has made rules for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The first eligibility under this is that the pilgrim should be an Indian citizen.
