Celebrity Ex On The Beach is reportedly set to make a comeback. The MTV programme, which served as a spin-off of the regular series which follows couples trying to build a relationship abroad before their ex arrives to shake things up, has so far aired three celebrity editions. The first one, which aired in 2020, followed the likes of Joey Essex, Georgia Harrison and Calum Best as they dealt with former flames in the tropical location.
The next series saw TOWIE star James Lock and Megan Barton-Hanson of Love Island fame, and in 2024, Lockie made a comeback to the programme alongside the likes of Chloe Brockett and footballer Finley Tapp. The show has not made an appearance for 2025, which led to rumours that it had been axed, but now an insider has claimed that filming will get underway soon.

A source toldThe Sun: "Celeb Ex On The Beach is back - and they’re already in talks with Love Island, MAFS, and Netflix stars. Celebs are queuing up to take part, so the cast will be better than ever when it returns."
The insider claimed that the next series of the show is 'in its very early stages' but cameras will start rolling at some point 'towards the end of the year'. A filming location is not yet known, but the first batch of episodes was shot in Marbella, Spain, whilst production for the second and third outings took place in Gran Canaria.
One of the most memorable moments of the previous series was when Paige Turley fought with her ex-boyfriend Finley, whom she had won Love Island with some three years earlier.
When asked if she was apprehensive at seeing Finn for the first time since their break-up last year, Paige explained: "Yeah definitely. " She added: "Probably I was quite naive because Finn and I ended on, well as good as... I never thought it would be easy but I never thought how hard it would be living together. And the possibility of him getting to know somebody else in that villa."
Soon after leaving Love Island, Paige and Finn moved in together and lived with her parents in Scotland. The couple then decided to splash out on a three-bedroom apartment in Manchester, but on realising that they couldn't make their relationship work, Paige moved back to Scotland.
Paige continued: "There was definitely a few awkward moments. Some days there was chatting some days there weren't" When asked if she managed to keep it together or became emotional throughout the series, she confessed that she was a "hot mess."
When it was announced that both Paige and Finn had signed up to the show, reports started to circulate claiming they had secretly got back together.
And while Finn was quick to shut down the rumours, Paige, it seems, hasn't ruled out the possibility of a reunion. She added: "I would never say never but I feel we're very different people now. I think we've both kinda come into ourselves. And Finn, maybe you grew up a wee bit."
Speaking about his transition from being a 20-year-old man on Love Island to now, Finn jumped in and said: "[laughs] I have. When we done Love Island I was way too young to do that show. I was just like very naive to the world.
"So like now, where I've sort of gone through it, that's probably why I've enjoyed Ex On The Beach, because I'm a different person. I just enjoyed it a lot more because I was more sure of myself I think, if that makes sense. I do look back on it and I was very young."
