Picking what to name your child is one of the biggest decisions you'll make for your child. It's something they'll have to live with every day for the rest of their lives - or until they're old enough to change it. However, with name trends changing by every year, it can be difficult to agree on what name to pick.
To help, site Nameberry has shared data about the most searched for names from each country of the , which they went on to share on their social media platforms. However, some name trends have people questioning other ' name choices.
"Which names are trending in your home country?" Nameberry's Emma Waterhouse asked at the start of the video. "The Nameberry popularity charts are great at predicting the next big names, and we separated our data out by visitor country to see which names were most popular over the past year."

She went on to emphasise that these were the names that had been viewed the most on their website, and doesn't mean that they're the most used names.
For , the most viewed girls names were Eloise, Elodie, Hazel, Daphne, and Amelia. Meanwhile, the most popular boys names were Theodore, Finley, Lucas, Jude, and Felix. Meanwhile for , the most popular names for girls were Olivia, Cecilia, Maeve, Elodie, and Aurora. For boys, however, the most popular names were Zephyr, Kai, Vinicius, Milo, and Oliver.
has similar trends to Australia – with Eloise, Maeve, Violet, Isla, and Aurelia being the most searched for names for girls, and Felix, August, Silas, Rowan, and Theodore being popular names for boys. However, things took a turn when she got to .
While the girls' list looked normal – with Evelyn leading the list followed by Olivia, Eloise, Jenny, and Luna – the most popular boys' name was Wizard. This was followed by Liam, Jayden, Henry, and Lucas.
Wizard was far from the only name appearing on these lists, as the name Luxury also made an appearance on several lists.
"Our viewers in love word names, so for girls Unique, Royal, Beauty, Aiza, and Luxury top the charts," Emma revealed. "And for boys, pretty similar, Royal, Luxury, Danger, Azlan, and Agastya."
Luxury later also showed up on the top list of boys names in Germany and Italy. Meanwhile, the rest of the lists were fairly similar for Finland, France, Ghana, and as previous countries, with the exception of Ireland who had a special interest in Irish names.
"Okay who keeps looking up Wizard?" the company wrote in the caption of the video, and they weren't the only ones with that question.
Taking to the comment section of the video, one person joked: "Some people should need a licence to a have child."
"What is with Luxury," a second viewer commented along with a confused looking emoji.
However not everyone were convinced about the accuracy of Nameberry's data, as one person argued: "I really don’t believe this list for Brazil - these are names that normally trend in English speaking countries."
Another viewer replied: "Same for Germany."
