Pilot Rajveer Singh's father Govind Singh, who lives in Jaipur, is trying to accept the truth with teary eyes that his son is no more in this world.

Over 2000 hours of flying experience

Actually, for the last few days, it seems as if the country has been cursed by someone. First there was a big accident in Ahmedabad, then in Uttarakhand. Pilot Rajveer Singh, who was going to Kedarnath along with seven passengers, became a victim of this accident. Everyone died. He had more than 2000 hours of flying experience. He had led many operations and provided relief in many remote areas of the country like Siachen, Pathankot, Punjab. He was a pilot in the Indian Army for 14 years. After retirement, he joined a company named Aryan Aviation in September last year. He had started flying helicopters for the company only a month and a half ago. Everything was going well.

The biggest sorrow came after the biggest happiness

A few months ago, he retired and came home with his wife Deepika Chauhan. Deepika is also a lieutenant colonel in the army. The family welcomed them with great enthusiasm. A few days later, the family got the biggest happiness and the daughter-in-law gave birth to twins. Deepika is going to get a promotion next month. There was happiness everywhere. Not only this, the elderly parents were going to complete 50 years of their marriage on 30 June. Rajveer himself was going to come to Jaipur to celebrate this. But who knew that the same old parents are now waiting for Rajveer's body. The family is finding it difficult to spend every moment. Many politicians including Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma have expressed grief over this accident.

• Rajveer Singh, who lost his life in the Uttarakhand accident, was only 37 years old. He wanted to become a pilot since childhood. His father took care of his dream and the son fulfilled it with his hard work. He became a pilot in the Indian Air Force and met Deepika there. Both of them got married. Everything was going well, but now it seems as if a mountain of sorrows has fallen on the family.
• Rajveer Singh Chauhan's family originally hailed from the Mahua area of Dausa district in Rajasthan, but had shifted to Jaipur city many years ago. They have houses in Shastri Nagar and Jhotwara areas of Jaipur. Currently, the family is living in a house in Shastri Nagar.
