There has been widespread discrepancy in the result of PG third semester in Bihar University. Many students have got more marks than the full marks, while the result of many is pending. A girl student has been given 257 marks out of 100. The university administration has accepted the discrepancy and has assured to rectify it.
Bihar University located in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar is always in the headlines. Due to the negligence of the employees here, the students have to visit the university every day. At the same time, once again a case of result error has come to the fore. Despite all the claims, the Bihar University administration is not able to curb this. A case of error in the results of a large number of students in PG third semester has come to light in BRA Bihar University.
In RDS College, a Hindi student has been given 257 marks out of 100. In practical of 30 marks, the student has got 225 marks. Even after this, the student has not passed and has been promoted. The result of more than 150 students is pending. Nine thousand students had given the third semester examination. About eight thousand students have passed the examination.
Students protested against the messHindi and English students say that there is a mistake in their results. Science faculty students have also complained about the mistake to the university administration. After the mistake in the result, students are now making rounds of the university. Ankit Kumar, a student who came to Bihar University to get the result corrected, said that after the result of PG third semester came, we are very upset.
'Error due to mistyping'Due to the university's mistake, the students' results are stuck. Now the correction will be possible only after visiting the university. Meanwhile, Bihar University's examination controller Prof. Ram Kumar said that a case of result error has come to my notice. Some students have got more marks than the total marks. Sometimes this happens due to wrong typing on the keyboard. The computer programmer has been instructed to make his program in such a way that if more marks than the total marks are marked, the computer will not accept it.
Orders have been given to improve the software. An investigation will be conducted to find out how the student got 257 marks out of 100. We are trying to ensure that no student's result remains pending from next time.
