Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has finally addressed the long-standing rumors linking her to former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. The rumors, which claimed the two had secretly married and later separated, recently resurfaced—prompting Tamannaah to respond publicly.
Tamannaah's witty reactionIn a recent interview, Tamannaah dismissed the claims with humor and sarcasm. She said:
“Just joking, Abdul Razzaq! The internet is a funny place. Yes, according to the internet, I’m married to Abdul Razzaq.”
The rumors stemmed from an old picture of Tamannaah and Razzaq together at a jewellery store, which had gone viral years ago and led to widespread speculation about a secret wedding.
Tamannaah also addressed past gossip linking her to cricketer Virat Kohli, calling it "mere rumor" and nothing more.
Razzaq’s controversial pastAbdul Razzaq, a former all-rounder for Pakistan, has played 46 Tests, 265 ODIs, and 32 T20Is, scoring 5 international centuries and taking 389 wickets. Despite his cricketing achievements, he has often made headlines for controversial remarks.
In 2023, Razzaq drew massive criticism for a disrespectful comment involving actress Aishwarya Rai while criticizing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He sarcastically said:
"If your thinking is that I will marry Aishwarya and then a noble and virtuous child will be born, then this cannot happen."
This comment sparked outrage and backlash on social media.
