Pakistani pilot of JF17 captured by Indian forces: The Indian Army has arrested the pilot of the Pakistani Air Force's JF-17 fighter plane in Lathi area of Rajasthan. This incident happened when a Pakistani JF-17 plane entered the Indian airspace late on Monday night. The Indian Air Defense System took immediate action and shot down that plane.
According to sources, the wreckage of the plane has been found near Jaisalmer. Security forces are conducting a search operation in the area to find any other crew member or parts of the wreckage.

This big development happened amid rising tension
In the past few days, Pakistan has tried several times to launch drone and missile attacks on the Indian border. In the same sequence, today Pakistan tried to target Indian military bases in areas like Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar and Jalandhar. However, the Indian air defense system successfully stopped all these attacks.

Both F-16 and JF-17 became victims of India's defense system
India shot down Pakistan's JF-17 as well as F-16 fighter aircraft. According to sources, Indian surface-to-air missile system (SAM) shot down F-16 near Sargodha airbase. This incident is going to further increase the tension between the two countries.
The identity of the captured pilot has not been made public yet
There is no official information yet about the identity and status of the Pakistani pilot captured by the Indian Army. However, he has been kept in safe custody and is being interrogated.
