The author of a bombshell new book about Prince Andrew has warned of "more scandals to emerge" in his latest interview ahead of the book's release next week. Prince Andrew has been making headlines recently as parts of Andrew Lownie's book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, have been serialised online, bringing shocking new claims about the Duke of York and his family.
Mr Lownie claims he tried to reach 3,000 former school contemporaries, staff, colleagues and associates of the couple, 300 of whom spoke to him, on and off the record, revealing various secrets of the disgraced Duke. The bombshell book, set to be released on August 14, makes various allegations about Andrew, including about his sex life, his alleged physical altercation with Prince Harry, and the Duke's behaviour to members of staff.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the claims yet as it does not speak for non-working members of the Royal Family; however, Prince Harry's reps denied the claims that a physical fight between the two ever took place.
Now, Mr Lownie gave a new interview to the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential and issued a warning to King Charles about his brother.
The author said: "I would keep the whole York family at a distance."
He added: "Fergie should not be invited to events and the daughters should not be made working royals. I believe there are more scandals to emerge."
Sarah Ferguson has been gradually making more appearances alongside the royals as she was snapped attending both Easter and Christmas Day services in recent years.
In 2023, the Duchess of York returned to Sandringham and walked to church alongside members of the Firm for the first time in decades.
It is believed Fergie's more frequent appearances are a subtle and gradual way of welcoming her back into the royal fold.
Andrew stepped down as a senior working member of the Firm in 2019, due to his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
Since then, he has not attended any royal engagements or carried out royal duties; however, he still attends private family events with his relatives.
