Jeremy Vine invited guests Nina Myskow and Christian Calgie to this morning's episode of his Channel 5 show, where they debated whether the Royal Family "really needs" Prince Harry. The debate came during the Duke of Sussex's visit to the UK after being away from the country for the past five months. Harry, who is father to Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with wife Meghan Markle, is in the UK for the WellChild charity awards, which he is a patron of.
As part of his four-day trip, he visited Windsor Castle to lay a wreath and pay respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II, his beloved grandmother. Today, he's in Nottingham for further engagements, and speculation has been mounting as to whether he will meet with his father,King Charles III. While discussing Harry, Nina shared with Channel 5 viewers: "The Royal Family really needs him. His interactions with people - he's so natural and friendly and warm."

"The Royal Family needs Harry, whereas Harry doesn't really need the Royal Family," she added.
However, the other guest, Christian, completely disagreed with Nina and made his points crystal clear to viewers at home.
He said: "I think it's the other way around. I think Harry misses Britain, and I think, frankly, over the coming years, he will start to regret being so badly persuaded away from his home and his family by Meghan Markle over ridiculous reasons."
However, Nina cut in to insist: "He was pushed out! He was pushed out."
Firing back, Christian fumed: "He was the nation's sweetheart, and he decided to run away."
The argument continued as Nina claimed the Duke of Sussex was "pushed away" because "he was more popular than" Prince William and Princess Kate before host Jeremy had to draw the debate to an end to continue with the rest of the programme.
Jeremy Vine on 5 airs at 9.15am on weekdays on Channel 5.
