During Sunday's instalment of GB News with host Anne Diamond, royal expert Angela Levin became very emotional about Princess Diana's death, which happened 28 years. The world will never forget the heartbreaking date of August 31, 1997, when Diana, Princess of Wales, died from injuries sustained in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel, in the heart of Paris.
Dodi Fayed, Diana's partner at the time, and the driver of the Mercedes, Henri Paul, were found dead inside the car on that fateful night, which shook the globe to the core. Diana left behind her two young sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, as the nation mourned the 36-year-old royal who was once married to King Charles III.

Reflecting on Diana's passing, Leving told GB News viewers: "I loved her a lot, and then on that terrible day on the 31st, my husband was working very early in the morning at about 2am, and he came upstairs and he told me. I was just completely devastated..."
Getting upset recalling the fatal car crash which killed the beloved royal, Levin admitted: "I'm crying now..."
Composing herself to continue with the interview, the journalist went on to expalin: I watched television all day long, and I was in tears about what had happened to such a lovely woman.
"The next day, I had to go to work. I used to work for the Observer, and a colleague and I used to go across to Kensington Gardens, and it was amazing to see what happened because the flowers moved higher and higher and higher up to my waist.
"You had this amazing mixture of beautiful scent and that awful scent of flowers which had been there for a long time. It was packed with hundreds of people, and on the first two days, there wasn't a sound; they couldn't bear to speak. It was such a shock."
GB News viewers took to X to comment on Diana's passing, with one sharing: "Diana was lovely but no one has come up to her, not Meghan and not Kate." A second wrote: "The shock felt around the world. Rest in Peace beautiful lady - her presence still greatly missed."
