ITV Britain's Got Talent's future confirmed as 2025 winner set to be announced

The future of has been confirmed as the 2025 series comes to an end. Ahead of this year's winner being announced on Saturday's live show, hosts made an announcement.

The Geordie hosts cut to a videotape explaining how fans at home can apply for the upcoming 19th series - confirming that the will be back for yet another year in 2026. The much-loved show, which first aired in 2007, seems to be on the lookout for a fresh batch of talent to take to the stage, with hopes of them bagging a cash prize and a place in that year's Royal Variety Performance.

The BGT website currently states: "Whether you're an acrobat, magician, ventriloquist, or something we've never seen before, we want YOU to apply for the next series of Britain's Got Talent! Applications are now open for Series 19, and with so many ways to apply."

It shares that there are a number of ways to apply for the ITV show, including auditioning in person, applying by video, or by WhatsApp. There is also an option for you to nominate someone else who you think will dazzle the judges, Simon Cowell, , Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

The website also states that online Applications will close on October 17, 2025, at 23.59pm. It warns: "Any applications received after the closing date will not be considered."

This year's series reached its conclusion tonight in the Grand Final, where the lucky winner was awarded a cash prize of £250,000 and a place to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

Magician Harry Moulding came out on top as he was announced as the 2025 winner. Despite the winner being decided by the public, fans online are fuming that the results have been "fixed".

Posting to X/Twitter, one fumed: "Blackouts were so much better than that magician who spent half the act showing a clearly staged video... terrible choice from the British public yet again (or a fix) #bgt."

One more added: "Surely to God that has to be some sort of fix, don't even know how the magician managed to get into the top three, never mind win the thing he was boring af!! shoulda been bonita or blackout." While a third said: "What a fix! The blackouts were INCREDIBLE!! They should of won! #bgt."
