All flights were grounded at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in the US this evening after a reported bomb threat.
Departing flights were paused at 11:18 am ET (4:18pm UK time), and the stoppage is being enforced until 1:30 pm (6:20pm).
The airport said in a statement that passengers were evacuated from a stationary United Airlines plane and "bussed to the terminal".
"We will provide more information as it becomes available," a spokesperson added.
