Winning Lotto numbers LIVE: Full Set for Life results on May 8

Someone's life could have changed forever this evening as the Set for Life draw took place. Winners can take home £10,000 a month for 30 years if they play their numbers correctly.

Players must pick five numbers from 1 to 47, in addition to one Life Ball number from one to ten, or go with a Lucky Dip for randomly selected members. Then players choose a draw day from Monday and/or Thursday and the number of weeks they would like to play. They can then play up to seven lines of numbers and buy up to ten play slips at a time.

If a player matches the five main numbers plus the Life Ball, they win the top prize of £10,000 a month every month for 30 years. Players matching the five main numbers only win £10,000 every month for one year, while matching four of the main numbers and the Life Ball nets £250. Matching just four of the main numbers gets you £50, while matching three of the main numbers and the Life Ball wins you £30.

There are three further prizes of £20, £10 and £5 for matching fewer numbers.

The Set for Life draw took place at 8pm and the five main winning numbers were 06, 07, 31, 38 and 42, and the Life Ball was 06.
