Around 70 women and girls underwent health check up at a camp held as part of the ‘Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign,' at the NER Divisional Hospital, Lahartara on Friday. The campaign is being run from Sept 17 to Oct 2. Chief medical superintendent Dr R J Choudhury said the campaign aims to provide comprehensive health services at the community level. The doctors, led by ACMS Dr Kalpana Dubey, collected samples. The campiagn was launched by PM Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Railways is contributing to this initiative under the joint leadership of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women and Child Development. tnn
