A few days ago, when the Edmonton Oilers ended up defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round of playoffs, Connor McDavid defended Stuart Skinner.

The captain of the Edmonton Oilers said, “Hopefully it shuts a lot of people up that were talking about him, first and foremost. We always had belief in him.”

Connor McDavid added, ”He comes in and pitches two shutouts, you can’t say enough good things” but it seems like the captain’s words have not gone down too well with his fans.

With Game 5 between the Edmonton Oilers and the Dallas Stars beginning in a few hours, the Oilers’ fans are hoping for a win again, even though Zach Hyman has been ruled out of the game due to an injury.
