Apple has new 'Apple Care One plan' in US: Price, covered devices and more

Apple has launched the AppleCare One plan in the US. This will offer a new way for customers to cover multiple Apple products with a single plan. For $19.99 per month (around Rs 1700), Apple will cover up to three products in one plan, with the option to add more at any time for $5.99 per month for each device. With AppleCare One, customers will receive one-stop service and support from Apple experts across all of the Apple products registered in the plan. However, this plan is currently available only to US customers who can sign up for AppleCare One directly on their iPhone , iPad , or Mac, or by visiting their nearest Apple Store. In a blog post, the company has confirmed that AppleCare One plan will include the same services as AppleCare+, such as accident repair coverage, 24/7 support, battery service, and Apple-certified repairs. Apart from iPhones, this plan also adds theft and loss protection for iPad and Apple Watch .

The company also noted that the monthly cost of the plan will remain fixed regardless of the type of devices. Users can cover multiple Apple products like an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch under one plan, which may cost customers $11 less than individual AppleCare+ subscriptions. Additional devices can be added for $5.99 per month each.

Devices up to four years old can be added if they’re in good condition, expanding eligibility beyond the previous 60-day limit. When a customer trades in a device with Apple, the coverage automatically shifts to the replacement. The monthly plan also allows users to add or remove devices at any time.
